Djakhangir Khaydarov is an outstanding clarinet player who came from Uzbekistan. He has earned international acclaim as the top prizewinner of the Henri Selmer Paris Clarinet Competition and American Protégé Competition. Mr. Khaydarov’s clarinet performances have gone coast to coast, from the Fresno Summer Orchestra & Opera Academy (FOOSA) festival in California to the Juventus Pro Musica Festival held at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York.
He has honed his craft under the instruction of Professor Guy Yehuda at Michigan State University. He has also participated in masterclasses and took lessons with world-renowned clarinetists, including: Georgiy Borisov, James Campbell, Eli Eban, Yehuda Gilad, John Holden, Alan Kay, Maura Marinucci, Charles Neidich, Robert Spring, Tasha Warren, and Michael Wayne.
